Helen Marie Landers Moore, age 91, died Wednesday March 27, 2024. She was born March 21, 1933, to the late John Franklin and Cledo Reed Landers. On April 1, 1950, in Frame, WV, she married Floyd Edward Moore who precedes her in death. Helen is also preceded in death by a daughter: Sharon Rice, three sons in laws Danny Rice, Robert Daker and Joe Koger, three brothers Robert Landers, Guy Landers, Daniel Landers, two sisters Naomi Loudin and Mary Lou Parmer. She is survived by two sons: Bim (Kim) Moore of Meally, KY and Kenny (Fannie) Moore of Nippa, KY, five daughters; Bonnie Moore of Lake City, FL, Linda (Robert) Rowland of Olive Branch MS, Cindy (Chuck) Hammond of Paintsville, KY, Barbara Baker of Paintsville, KY & Mary (Eugene) Lee of Nippa, KY, an honorary son Terry Burchett of Stambaugh, KY, seventeen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and a honorary granddaughter Regina Dills of Lexington, KY, and many grand fur babies. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the Preston Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in the Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Irvin Rowland, Issac Rowland, and Jim McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow in the Roy Meadows Cemetery at Nippa, KY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the W R Castle Fire department in care of Preston Funeral Home.
